The eagerly awaited Planechase 2012 collection has arrived at magic Madhouse. The popular variant of the famous Magic the Gathering trading card game focuses on multi-player gaming and players have been anticipating the launch of this new collection since the last four game packs were released in 2009. Planechase 2012 was released on the 1st June 2012 and will contain another four play decks with 21 new cards spread among the others reprinted from existing Magic sets.
The four new Planechase 2012 MTG decks are Chaos Reigns, Night of the Ninja, Primordial Hunger and Savage Aurus. These exciting new Magic the Gathering collections will contain brand new planer decks that come complete with an oversized card and several new, Eternal-legal cards. The new planer decks will allow players to visit plans within the Magic the Gathering universe that they have never been seen before, whilst also including some of the old favourites.
The oversized cards are also known as phenomenon cards and represent the perils lurking between the planes. Each of the new Planechase 2012 decks contain eight brand new plane cards and two of the oversized phenomenon cards. As these new cards are not shared between the decks, players can look forward to collecting a grand total of 32 plane cards and 8 phenomenon cards.
