Magic 2013 M13 is a brand new Magic the Gathering expansion set that is set to be released on July 13th 2012. With an exciting tagline letting players know that they are to ‘Face a Greater Challenge’, it is no surprise that this new set is so eagerly anticipated. Although it seems that 2012 has only just begun, this new set follows on from the tradition set in 2012 of releasing a core set at the start of each summer. The 2013 core set already has players counting down the days to its release, with several new Magic the Gathering2013 cards and reprints already released.
Standard play rotates once a year to coincide with the release of the large October set. Once Magic 2013 M13 is released on the 13th July 2012 it will join the current standard sets without knocking any of them out. The Magic the Gathering 2013 set will contain 249 cards and will join Innistrad Block, Scars of Mirroin Block and M12 in standard play, although the latter two sets will be rotating out in October 2012.
